EMay has been a yogi since 2004 and a musician for life.
In 2018 she began an ongoing collaboration with yoga instructor Elena Papina and yogi-percussionist Cory Chase to create live music yoga workshops, which have been held in Washington DC and West Virginia. Upcoming Event @ DC Brau
In 2009, she began collaborating with critically acclaimed Black Yo)))ga Meditation Ensemble (BYOME). This group has produced dozens of compilations, two instructional DVDs and three albums of original music. EMay appears on these first three albums, has performed live with the group, and the Earth Portals album was recorded at EMay’s Healtberry Farm in West Virginia.
